Blue City Lab - The Growcast

Created for BlueCity Lab, this short promotional video introduces The Growcast, a podcast exploring the future of biodesign through the voices of eight Rotterdam-based designers.

I directed, filmed, and edited the piece, developing a visual approach that translated the client’s script into a concise, engaging format. Shot on location at BlueCity Lab, it combines short interview clips with cutaway shots of the designers moving through the space or pausing by their work, giving the story rhythm and visual variety. Stills are woven into the footage to highlight details and add contrast.

Released on BlueCity Lab’s social channels, the video was delivered in two versions: a longer cut (shown here) and a set of shorter snippets designed for quick, shareable viewing.
