Operator x Voor de Kunst

A dynamic crowdfunding piece for Rotterdam-based online radio station Operator, created to rally its community and raise the funds needed to keep the station alive.

The client provided the script, and I developed a visual approach that turned it into a lively, engaging format. Shot in a single day, it blends interviews, stills, and scenes from Rotterdam’s central district—an urban backdrop reflecting the station’s roots and cultural energy. The story unfolds through the voices of the founders and key allies from the city’s creative and cultural scene, individuals who had supported Operator from the very beginning.

Edited with a rhythmic, dynamic pace, the piece captures the station’s spirit while delivering a clear call to action. The campaign was a success, securing the funds Operator needed to keep running at full speed and grow its online community.
